1979 MG MGB

1979 MGB Roadster with V8 conversion. Totally turn-key, restored vehicle that is completely ready to enjoy. This car was in Alabama from new until this year when it was brought here to Ohio. There is zero rust and the car has never seen snow or winter driving. In 2021-2022 this car underwent the V8 transformation using the Mantell Motorsports V8 conversion kit including a brand new 370 hp BluePrint Industries 306cid 5.0L V8 crate engine with aluminum heads. The engine is mated to a new Tremec T-5 manual transmission. The V8 conversion work was performed by RoadSpeed Garage in Cleveland, GA. All work is fully documented with books, binders and receipts. The cost of the V8 conversion and interior restoration was $25,396.23. We also have a huge binder of service records from before the V8 conversion going back at least 37 years. The vehicle has a new interior and new convertible top. On the outside the vehicle appears to be stock, once you start it the fire-breathing V8 turns heads within a 10 block radius and will cause the 14' tires to slip and slide with excitement!
