1993 Volkswagen EuroVan 7-passenger van- a rare, one-year only vehicle. This was VWs Transporter 4 Bus being tried out for the US market. The advertising slogan at the time was 'there's nothing 'mini' about it'. It just wasn't the right vehicle to compete in the US minivan market at the time, but it makes for a very fun, interesting vehicle today. Unique powertrain for the time, this is the torquey 2.5L Audi inline-5 engine and 5-speed manual transmission. This has been a California vehicle since new- never been exposed to salt, snow or northern winter driving. Runs and drives absolutely great- excellent engine, transmission, clutch, brakes, suspension, steering, etc. I would trust this van to drive cross-country tomorrow. No leaks, no noises, no issues. No check engine light on, no warning lights on. Fun to drive and very stable, nimble and composed on the road. The exterior of this van looks very respectable. Original paint in very decent condition. There are small dings, dents, scrapes, etc around the exterior, but no major issues or damage. Mercedes-Benz S-Class wheels are fitted and give this Eurovan remarkable stability. Good interior in very reasonable condition. Both the middle and third rows of seats fold down and are removable. Quirks- fuel gauge only works intermittently. Odometer reads 112,xxx but does not work as of recently. This is a 30-year old VW so I'm sure I'm forgetting other minor issues.
